Yeah it was especially considering it was his first "solo" gig in 6 years. He played some new songs which were good. He was joined by keyboard and double bass players for the main set then came back on just himself and did a few more songs. Towards the end he asked for a request and someone who had clearly had more than a few beers requested the chicken song. It was a good atmosphere, you just need to be near the front there to see properly as the stage is about an inch high.
 
Stranglers in newcastle in a fortnight, but I've just found out that the fkwits are playing at home that night so it's gonna be a right carry on trying to get parked 🤬🤬
 
Hot Since 82 at digital… love that stuff but worried a 52 year old rave might be too old? Anyone been to similar there… few cowies I’ll not care anyway mind
