‘Glasgow Rangers’.

biggest club in Scotland and one of Europe's top twenty need a manager
hope they dint come sniffing after regis
2nd marra. You can’t realistically believe that? Rangers are a massive football club but they are not even the biggest in Scotland.

They probably are mind. I really don’t want to get involved in the whole old firm nonsense but Rangers have a big following in the UK and are probably the biggest club in Scotland - albeit not by much.

Obviously Celtic dominate in Ireland but they are some way behind Utd and Liverpool in terms of support.

Celtic do probably have a greater worldwide support though but again both clubs have huge fanbases.

Mind, that doesn’t excuse the fact that both fan bases are absolutely riddled with bigotry.

I’d like to think he’d know better than to go anywhere near that basket case of a club!
Manager of a big Premier League club who appear to share his vision and are supporting him in the transfer market…… or
Manager of a big club in Scotland where the target is win a two-horse race against a team who appear to be miles ahead.
Hardly a choice for a young manager with any level of ambition.

I personally think it’ll be Dyche. Think the fans will find him more likeable and he will set the team up to suit their strengths.

I can’t see Martin finding work after the last two shit shows.
Depends on his ego but if hes willing to take a Championship club he will find a club. He will be cheap as rangers will have to pay him for the 2.5 years left on his contract and club owners somehow get blinded by managers who claim to want to play 'sexy football'. Norwich, Derby or Blackburn are all clubs near the bottom who I think would take him if they sacked their manager tomorrow.

Agree with Dyche, he's not what they need long term but the fans wont accept they need a project which will result in 2 or 3 years of being 2nd/3rd place (their current natural position) and rather somebody who says we will win the league blah blah blah. We should be the perfect model for them, attract younger players who feel they have a point to prove and if they succeed then sell them back to England/Germany/Spain for 5 or 6 times the value they paid. Considering we were doing it in league 1 and the Championship proves Rangers with European football could easily do it but the fans would have to accept for a period of time Celtic run away with the league.

Celtic have as many fans , won more domestic trophies, won Europe's biggest trophy and haven't died

Celtic are bigger

That’s a roundabout way of saying Celtic are the biggest club.

Which they are by some distance. There are few like them in the world.

Also agree that Rangers are a huge club, they just don’t have a country behind them, just dickheads from Chelsea and Seaburn.

It's very likely they won't need to pay him for the full contract length mind. Manager's contracts can have break clauses, agreed length of compensation clauses, all sorts of things. There are cases where the full contract is paid up, but it won't be half as common as people think. Martin was desperate for the job, he won't have been the type who could demand an iron clad contract

"Two boils on the same arse" is the best description I've heard of the Old Firm.
Or as Frankie Boyle says, two sets of fat men singing about famine.
There was a moment where Rangers were up to fifth and only four point behind Celtic. Though it might be the week where the kickstart the season.

Nope. Must be out now. Dyche in?
Was the week where the season started iirc.
