Really minor annoyances

Soz, but that's me. Above the waist, shirt, fleece, big coat, hat, gloves, scarf/Buff.

Below, shorts, walking shoes/boots...
Don't wear a scarf but quite happy to wear shorts on a freezing cold day with a coat and hat.

Wear wellies with shorts too if its a walk on the beach or on muddy ground.

I look a clip but I couldn't care less what other people think.

People who leave massive gaps in traffic jams - not just your standard car length, but 10-15 car lengths. What the fuck is that about?

I'd agree, but also counter with there being a significant number of wankers who drive in the inside lane approaching a slip road and refuse to move over into the empty outer lane just because they know it will cause the person joining the carriageway to slow down/stop/cause issues. A little bit of cooperation makes the world turn that little bit easier.
Maybe not 10-15 car lengths but having spent plenty of time and covered many miles on the roads with work I now leave an extended gap when approaching a standstill on a motorway. Mainly as a result of a friends daughter, ex-husbands new wife and her daughter getting rear ended by a lorry driver on his phone (Google it) and pushing them under the flatbed in front and decapitating them.

Since we’re on driving gripes -

Open stretch of road, good visibility ahead, no sharp bends, light traffic moving steadily … why do some drivers ahead have to be tap tap tapping on their brakes all the time? Just match your car’s speed to the needs of the road and drive smoothly there’s absolutely no need to be fannying on like that.

from my experience they're usually on their phones.

Park run on Saturday-two women behind me chuntering away about this and that for about 10 minutes. sped up and got away so far as I could no longer here them; however they caufght me up about the 4k mark ad stayed behind all the way to the finish-never came up for air once.
Annoying because of the noise or annoying because they could run faster than you while using more of their breath for a conversation? ;)

HR systems with no idea of sensible work flow.

I made a job offer to someone and they had to put in details for reference checks, so it all stopped until they had come back. Then they had to do a right to work check and upload evidence of qualifications (I had to hunt up the loft for my degree and A-Level certificates, as if A-Levels matter when I have nearly 30 years of experience). That added a couple of days while they arranged the appropriate ways to do that.

Then once I said they all look fine, only then were they given an occupational health form, and OH want to speak to them, so there is another week of delays.

The whole system is complete one check, move to the next, rather than the sensible way of sending out 6 checks, complete them all in parallel. If there is a delay (like a reference provider being on holiday or just slow), no problem, crack on with the other 5.

A clear example of a process being governed by a badly written computer system with a step-by-step flow chart in mind, and not considering the person being recruited who wants to hand in their notice but 3-4 weeks on, still has not got a contract.

People who FaceTime their spouse or partner for huge periods.
There was some loser FaceTiming his lass on the bus to work yesterday.

I was sat behind him and I think they genuinely spoke about 10 words to each other in the 15 mins I was on the bus.

Just insecure behaviour, imagine being so neurotic your partner can’t get the bus to work without you thinking they need to be monitored.

You put your kitchen and garden waste bin out for the binmen and someone chucks and empty fag packet or a plastic cup in there so the binmen don't take it and give you a warning card.
