Yorkshire v Durham : CC September 24

I was puzzled as to why he wasn't included in the squads for the final 2 CC games when free of England U19 commitments
He's still 17 and played a lot of cricket this summer after a massive personal loss. I think it was fair to maybe not push him further

Seems like he did very well finding form against Ireland and Bangladesh.

But he had absolutely torrid time against India and for Durham in the one day cup, he was averaging over 100 with the ball during that period.

I was hoping some kind of comment relating to our season would have been made on social media but there's been nothing.

Not a single word while Bostock and North keep their heads down.
Not surprising, only two years ago when we got promoted North/Bostock and a few others wanted to put their head up and say how well they had all done. As always when the sh*t hits the fan, these people are nowhere to be seen
None of the main UK bookies offered it in the week prior to the fixtures. AND, most bookies only offer ‘Draw No Bet’ for Championship fixtures so Yorkshire would’ve been massive favourites anyway.
Yorkshire were 8/11 prior to the game starting. The draw (on betfair) before Durham came out to "bat" on Saturday was around 1/16 so essentially Durham were 7/1 to be relegated when they started their innings

Radio silence and as far as I can see nothing either regards to Gay and McKinney being in the England back up squads.

That could be lively for 3 of them as the women's side for a scratch team did very well. Good coaching set up with Dani and Kyle.
Men's coaching needs a shake up, proper batting coach as opposed to the current ball slinger.

Don’t think changing personnel. They have all contributed to success recently.Think two motions should be presented and answered to the participating members.
1 Recognise the weaknesses in the setup
2What action is to be taken to improve the situation
3 What plans are in place to make the match day experience more attractive for potential members.

Welcome to the forum,Marcus.
Can you explain how you can fulfil aims 1 and 2 if you have an embargo on changing personnel?
i.e.maintain the status quo.

Should be lively. I wonder how far into the forum before Bostock has to go to "another meeting"

I have just listened to the Talksport Following On podcast (most recent episode focusing on end of CC) with Steve Harmison. They start the episode talking about Durhams relegation and the way Harmison talks about the feeling of the members towards players, Bostock, North, Campbell and the club as a whole and questions that need answered, I am convinced he reads this forum.

Most mags do!

I am told Bostock was on Total Sport tonight. I was otherwise engaged so couldn’t listen, but this will presumably be repeated on BBC Sounds?

From 1:51:25 if you don't want to listen to 100 minutes of non-cricket.

(All the player's fault)
