Apologies for digressing, but I heard somewhere in recent days that O9 has scored in every league except the Premier. Wonder if he'll get on the pitch at all this season? Much as I love his commitment, effort and love for the club, I don't think he's the required standard.

I’ve pondered this a few times, is that the most consequential goal in our history since Porterfield’s? Genuinely can’t think of another off the top of my head, such as where promotion or survival came down to one goal.

Love the man myself. But id only sanction that if we were safe and there were not several places to play for, or nobody better to bring on.
Looked at their lineup, he didn't even make the bench vs. Chelsea.

Was thinking the same myself, which may be a tad unfair on the 4 other playoffs goals, especially Mayenda's - a team effort and a beauty.
But for sheer individual skill and excellence, drama, limbs and incredible consequences, Tommy's takes some beating. It has been open on a tab on my browser since day 1. Better than any other pick-me-up.

My not quite 2 year old daughter asks to watch Rocketman now. She already knows to celebrate when Dan Ballards goal vs Cov goes in but now 'Rocketman' has her obsessed. She puts her hand up when it goes in but then sits in awe watching all the carnage in the stands, before jumping herself!

Still early days, but as we basically paid 8-10mil, plus Watson for Adingra, we might have got the worse end of that deal. Shame Tommy wanted away really, but thats football
