The move for Seelt is gonna be useless. Hope we can cancel the deal in January. Waste of time there. Trey needs game time so hope he gets more. Most of the others won't make it here apart from Young and at a stretch Aleksic.
Quite a few of them not in squad, i don't think Hemir has been in a squad yet

It looks like a weird move for Seelt, I wonder if he chose Wolfsburg rather than Sunderland deciding.

Walsh is a mile off the required level, not good for him to get a pro contract somewhere else though if he can't get in the Shields starting 11.
The Seelt loan was a bizarre one really, a Championship loan would have been far better.

Is Walsh not only a young'un though
also playing in the same position as Kelly who is playing for his career after moving on from our youth system and trying to forge a career in professional football..Seelt one seems odd, wonder what fees were involved

Im a sunderland fan obviously so am happy when kids make it here. But I also love watching the youth teams so im almost as happy watching the lads have successful professional careers. Walsh I've enjoyed watching play and was hopeful he'd get a professional contract somewhere. It can only benefit our youth teams to see multiple players getting professional contracts

I don't want to get into what I think of his abilities again, but I did wonder what on earth he was going to a decent Wolfsburg team for. It was imperative he got games and I always wondered if he would- no suprise really.
I'd also hoped somewhere like Portugal at a lesser team may suit Hemir but its early days.
I'm a bit suprised by Huggins. He assisted and played in the cup midweek but has been left out of a few squads now. They could be treating him with kid gloves, but if he can't make the squad a few games running it doesn't look good.
Not beng funny but I'm not sure he'd be getting games for much of the championship. Bottom end maybe. But even that or top end league one would be better than reserves at Wolfsburg or whatever he's doing as he simply hasn't had enough first team football to develop and also had the bad injury.

If he cant get in the team over someone we released, he isnt going to make it here is he.
If we cancel in January then we can’t loan him out again as he would be playing for 3 clubs in a season. He’ll have an option of stopping there or coming back into our Matchday squad.

Hopefully he can get into the squad there. Perhaps he picked up a knock. Can't see game time for him here so unless he is unhappy he should stay there.
