Forthcoming gigs.

Only know Wagon Wheel, but think he’s a big deal in that world isn’t he?
Yeah he is, opened the Grand Ole Opry live gig at the Royal Albert Hall yesterday. The last tour he did over here was City Hall size venue, this one is arena's. Support acts are Jake Owen and The Shires who are both decent sized acts in the country scene

Gathering Sounds in Stockton today, should be another cracking day out!
Will report back tomo!!
Brilliant day again yest, ill be honest i got a little distracted by match in between bands!
We were a bit late to start the day as id been out in Barnsley the Fri night (rough as shit but thats another story.....)
Started with The Cases, young indie band with some great songs,
The The Slates, greatly jangly, dancy indie stuff proper got crowd going (but on too early in the day imo, would be great in bigger venue, with a more 'lively' crowd!),
Caught end of Montello set, no comment really as im not a fan of the acoustics in that venue but were decent enough,
Onto Ku, and caught most of Risco - really good noisy band, im not a fan of covers when new bands have their own stuff but did a superb version of 20th century boy,
Then started the running around Stockton town centre to find a pub with sky sports for match!
Was just pub leaving as Alderate scored, great timing!!
Ran round to Arc for my highlight of the day, The Kairos, one of my fav bands at the minute, didnt dissaoint, but v surprised they werent on a headline slot,
Ran back to pub to watch last 20 mins of match!
Then back to Ku for Dylan Flynn and the Dead Poets, quite Sam Fender sound (with a Sax player as well), nothing great but was enjoyable,
Dashed to next venue to catch last 30 mins of Sunbeam - brilliant uplifting indie stuff, had everyone dancing and singing along,
Wasnt much else we fancied in other venues so managed to grab some food while we waited for The Covasettes at 1045pm (i was starting to flag at this point),
But again they were great, frontman has great craic and again just good tunes to get everyone going.

£40 for all that, again as always ill say it, love the Stockton music scene, Jimmy is the man, amazing day:cool:
