Forthcoming gigs.

Got Field Music, Mark Morriss, Muireann Bradley over the next couple of months. Ill probably go and see Scott Levine in Durham as well. All nice and cheap.

If you like old style blues/Americana I'd really recommend Bradley. Saw her at a festival and she was amazing. Should be a massive star but might not be due to her niche musical direction.

Wouldn't mind seeing Bradley. There's nothing in middle England though. Shame no Sheffield/Nottm 😢
 
Saw Katie Malco in NYC last night. She's very good - highly recommend the Failures album if you've not heard her. Seeing her a couple more times this month opening for Laura Stevenson
 
The Wild Things tomorrow night at The Cluny. Then W.A.S.P next week but only really going to see them again as they are playing their debut album (their best by a mile) in full and more importantly they have Armored Saint supporting. October looking quite busy.

Gathering Sounds next Sat in Stockton (chuffed the Kairos are playing, top top band imo)
Bilk in Sunderland 5th Oct
Another mini music fest thing in Sheffield at Network 11th Oct (M60s playing so wasnt gonna miss that)
Then 3 in a week in Dec, Babyshambles at Newc, Rolling People and then Villanelle (Liam G sons band) both in Stockton
Then Freddy Halkon, Fratellis, and Maximo Park all in Newc in Feb

Busy times but looking forward to them all!
 
Bar Italia are touring UK in March. Looks like they have a day off between Glasgow and Leeds. Any promoters out there fancy trying to get them to stop off on 21st March?
