Chris Wilder

The owners have got some nerve going back to him, as much as I detest the bloke I hope he named his price.

I don't think he will do as well this season regardless due to the number of key players they lost in the summer.
Still got a decent enough squad to be challenging for playoffs imho. Will need some turn around but we saw with cov last season it can be done.

It's a total new defense though, in fact they lost loads of players. Sure Sky said on Friday they conceded 48 goals last season, already conceded 12. Just don't think Wilder is the magic wand they think he will be.

Sheff u should have gone for danny rholl proppa throw the cat amongst the pigeons.

Kinell mega flashback here us sat in the drawing office at pallion huddled round the radio when they announced the yard was closing in parliament.
Next song played on the radio was bros - cat amongst the pigeons

Wilder has no shame going back there. Where's his pride? He'll be on a hiding to nothing as he knows the ownership don't really rate him
Loves the club doesn't he. I get where you're coming from but if a club runs through your blood you're gonna go back. The club is bigger than the owners imo

True, but he got sacked for finishing 3rd. The owners didn't think he was the man to take them up. I don't think it will take much for him to get the push again. I'd love to have been a fly on the wall for that conversation at the weekend

Can't help feeling the elephant in the room was the knacker who decided to use AI Technology to make the signings this summer for Selles to work with.

Can't see them improving too much under Wilder. He's never been that great. Might cheer up one or two who were left after the summer exodus.

Yep he needs to be on a lot of cash. Shit working for people that dont want you. He's on a hiding to nothing.

I like some they signed mind, did they sign that godfrey always thought he looked a solid championship defender. I think like Beale here the players were just not having selles and if the players don’t buy in then you e got no chance. I think wilder is an ok manager but he seems to fit them and the players there like him. Could see a turn around. On the other hand they may just be broken and shifted too many players.
