I would hope they've been trying to for those final 3 games. Realistically really difficult. Killeen,Minto and Ghafari in would improve bowling immensely.
Uplift in spirit with a majority of local lads.

BBC has us 6 points behind Hampshire.

I presume the 8 points deduction they got today takes this into account. If not then we would be above them.

It sounds like Essex are wanting to get Killeen on loan for the remaining two games ahead of his permanent move according to the stream today, if that gets the go-ahead and Minto still with Eng-u19s then we are looking at the same attack next Monday.

Hoping that the weather holds long enough, in the 3rd week of September, that we can beat Worcs. Shite end to the season in every respect.

Perhaps but the criticism was mainly aimed at those players who we know are talented but are consistently having poor games …not just a poor game. We know we have some average players like most counties our expectations of them are less than those representing their countries and those aspiring to join them
 
Very very lucky escape still can’t see where a win is coming from currently we can’t take wickets. Unless Wood is available Monday but if we manage to beat the worst side in the division and draw with Yorkshire might be enough.

But even if we squeak survival it should not disguise a dreadful season and sub standard coaching and player recruitment.
