Olly stone back and going on loan to Middlesex to play the last 2 matches in a bid to prove fitness ahead of the ashes squad announcement
Yeh,as it says on the tin, gets through these games and he's in the Ashes squad. Obviously obsessed that express pace is required means
Archer
Wood
Stone
Tongue
will all be in the squad with, probably, Atkinson,Carse and Potts as back up,plus Stokes..
Given recent injury records a large pace bowling squad is essential.
Rotation also a must to get the best out of them.

Big day in CC tomorrow and what happens with the weather.

If the rain means Surrey and Warwickshire ends in a draw and Notts can finish off Worcestershire then the next game Surrey vs Notts on Monday could become a title decider.

There's been talk of Potts as the 6th seamer.
But I like the look of
Archer
Wood
Atkinson
Carse
Tongue
Stone

With Stokes as the 7th option.
I mean Potts, Cook, Baker, Pennington can all go with the A team if needs be

Leicestershire promoted! Congratulations to them.
Yeah well done to them.

Whenever culling the counties is mentioned, their name always comes up.

Well they are one of the top 10 from next season (assuming the ECB dont change the structure).
