Single tier all the way for me. What a home end that could be in full flow.

But unfortunately corporate will be the priority and they will want boxes in the same position as the North splitting the stand in two.

Without the overhang from the top tier, the stand would presumably go back further towards the road, and probably then be out of line with the existing foundations.

Find a photo of the stadium that shows the West and North stand. Now get your lass to give you a lend of her small handbag mirror. Hold the mirror across the photo and be amazed when you see the all round extension! 😎
 
Could stick two tiers of boxes at the back of a single tier stand, would be a great sell for those wanting a more “atmospheric” corporate experience

Yep its very messy but i hope the compromise ..tbh the sol should become a beacon for the city no longer tucked away on waste ground but the beating heart of the city becoming integral to a forward thinking modern community setting.....the keel way should be developed to show the country what our planners can do and part of that that involves creating the plaza that the club suggests towards the south end of the ground and not just shoe honing in as many buildings in as they can to satisfy a house hungry government.
Walking across the keel bridge to the stadium to a the magnificent vista of a glass fronted south stand and plaza would be a fantastic advert for the city and we need to promote this as much as we can !

I agree but town planners have done more damage than the Luftwaffe unfortunately. I don’t trust them
 
Makes more sense to me to do east stand from NE corner down, and then have South Stand as 1 full stand of Rail seats, making it a proper home terraces end.
