Niall Huggins.

Yeah we’ve looked after him financially no doubt and gave him every chance to regain his fitness, there has to be a point when we say all the best and good bye

Contract is up at the end of this season, but the club have the option to extend it for a year, so I guess it will depend how he performs and where we are as to whether we take that option or just let him leave.

A loan is obviously the best option for all involved for this season though, and you would hope he will get a lot of game time in League One.

This idea that he's too good for League One isn't really based on much is it? Played 28 games in four year here and had multiple major injuries to deal with, no one has any idea where his current level's at and what his limitations are moving forward.
Got to agree tbh, even if he had more than a years contract left he wouldn't get near the level of first team contention, I'd arguably put Alese in this category too

If he stays fit and recaptures some of his championship form (pre injury) he will easily be one of their best players.

Hopefully he can keep his fitness for a season, a good footballer and I hope he does well. Can't believe that Dodds will be there much longer if things don't pick up massively.

I think it’s a good move for him. After so many injury issues and lack of games it is best he steps down a level or 2 and try rebuild his career. A fully fit and ready Huggins is far better than league 1 and I hope he gets himself back up to championship level soon enough.
