Did he sign a 2 year deal here? If so we won’t see him again. Shame it never really got going for him here but he played his part with the wonder goal v Leeds 😂

A section of fans at Preston jeered when Whittaker was taken off which Edwards spoke about in his interview. Seems Whittaker is low on confidence and hearing that will only set him back further.

He just hasn't got going since he signed and if a so called flair player isnt scoring then some Boro fans demand they start flying into challenges and get stuck in which just isnt who he is.

You can see there is a decent player in there but he just seems a bit light weight and overthinking it.

I expect a big reception on him Friday night if he starts.

Tough run of games to come, West Brom (h), Southampton (a) and Stoke (h), Portsmouth (a) and Ipswich (h). No complaints with the start, defensively looking solid, we have a strong bench and a manager who isn't afraid to make changes or change the formation/system. We where dreadful first half against Preston and battered them second half - was a good game and they are a decent team.

We've lost the last 5 matches at Preston , so coming back from behind twice on Saturday almost felt like a win (to me).
Last season's visit followed a similar pattern to Saturday - 1-0 down at half time, got it back to 1-1, then fell to a late goal.
Was refreshing to see us keep going and get the draw

First time we've had to come from behind this season, so that was also good to see us showing some character.

I don't like to see fans singling out players (Whittaker) - he's our player and should be supported not attacked.
Edwards has kept picking him so that's good enough for me

He went guns blazing with Luton and their rise was as dazzling as their fall.

They are doing well. There’s no real stand out team in the league this season, there’s about 10 that could get promoted.
 
Thought the quality of football was absolutely awful when I saw them beat Swansea.

However you can’t deny the start they’ve had. Getting wins playing poor and playing well.

Seen enough to think they’ll get automatics.

Oh, and, Boro :lol:
