Got to be Fatawu hasn't it?? If it's too late to bring in planes etc it has to be domestic? Surely wouldn't let Roberts leave if we didn't have something in the pipeline 🤔🤞🤞🤣

Yep that's been the way. And given how good the rest of the window has been we can't really kick off about it. Just means making use of Mundle, Le Fee, Wilson and Mayenda out wide as and when. Better than being lumped with an expensive player we never really wanted. Full faith in them

We were linked with 2 more recently, a defender and forward.

Assuming Brobbey only happened because of Guiu (although they aren’t like for like, value wise) I’m hopeful we’ll see another forward come in.

I really think we need a class winger, ideally not African*, to complete the initial squad

Guiu and Brobbey. As in, we got one, he left, we’ve got another.

We don’t know if that was the plan when Lauriente was almost in. Him not signing might have affected the squad make up in ways we don’t know

All I’m saying is we don’t know we’re after a winger. And Lauriente isn’t evidence of that.

As much as I think it’ll complete this initial squad

I read this as 'we've twice gone for a more traditional 9', meaning Guiu and Mr Brobbey, showing a possible change if thought on what we nees/how we may set up, not that we have two of them in the squad right now.
