I know we have won 2 out of 3 but a few injuries suspensions and Huddersfield defeat have shown we need more quality depth in key areas as mentioned ( CB -midfielder /winger and forward )

I wouldn't be surprised with 0, 1 or 2. All seem feasible to me
Would say 1 is the most probable, then 0, then 2.

If I was a player wanting away I would have wanted it sorted before tomorrow. The reality is we only have so many staff in them departments and anyone who is anyone will be involved in the incomings rather than anyone leaving. I am sensing a manic day

If deals have gone on this late there's clearly difficulty in getting them done, so no guarantees that it will be possible.
Of course deadlines are very good at concentrating minds, but at this late stage there's no time for any hiccups.

I'm surprised we haven't shifted many of the players that clearly don't have a future here. I wonder if it has anything to do with their salaries potentially rising following our promotion.
Players like Rusyn and Ba are still here, which is surprising at this stage.

I'm honestly not surprised at all.
The players we want rid of are all players we deemed nowhere near good enough to be near the squad in the championship - but they will be on Championship wages with the potential pay rises you mentioned.
Rusyn is probably the worst example of the lot - we paid a couple of million for him at least, and his wages will reflect that and have probably gone one since. Yet even when he plays for the u21s he looks like a competition winner, completely flopped in the championship and completely flopped on loan in the Croatian league! To get rid of him it would have to be for no fee with us subsidising maybe as much as 90% of his wages. I don't think even League 2 standard clubs would be interested.
The others are in similar scenarios just not quite as extreme.

Fair play hope you are right.
I’m being greedy as this league is unrelenting, whilst so far we haven’t looked out of place if we can further improve the starting side that would give me more confidence

It has to be their agents holding out for the best deals but it could bite them (And us) on the arse. Our main aim will be the hopefully x 2 incomings so the lads who are wanting away will be dealing with low level low key people and it will be done under the radar so to speak. It will all be about money or they would have gone by now
