Jhon Lucumi - Transfer Rumour


I’m usually happy to give anyone a chance if they become our player but the stronger links to Aguerd are not that inspiring. He’s been a part of a West Ham defence that’s conceded 11 goals in 3 games so far this season and didn’t impress here on the opening day.

In every aspect of recruitment Speakman and his team have played a blinder from day 1. The outlay versus the value of our squad while still in c’ship is undeniable, incontrovertible proof that he is a genius in comparison to some random know nowt whinger from a fan message board..we all know the sort.
He and KLD started this season knowing what was needed and readied a budget way way in excess any of us could have imagined and have really hoed in to the market. It was and is always going to be a slog to bring in every single player identified and needed. We are favorites for relegation..a sad but undeniable fact. Other clubs at home and overseas want to take our eyes out..we’d do the same no doubt if roles were reversed.
People (fans ?) should desist from wetting the bed and bagging management over recruitment. They have done a cracking job under the circumstances.

Won't Aguerd be away at AFCON as well?

Slightly concerning that the side with the worst defensive record in the league so far are desperate for us to take him. You'd hope if he was decent it wouldn't be an option to sell given how poor they've been

There are implacably biased posters who would bleat if we were signing the equivalent a prime John Terry.
They hear scurrilous rumors/stories about the player and they would rather believe the minimal bad than accept the assessment of former and current coaches etc.

I really thought we'd finally get this lad but Bologna have seemed unwilling from the off. We should have just offered his release clause I take it we're above that value now?
