Jhon Lucumi - Transfer Rumour

If we are relying on O'nien, a player who was directly responsible for conceding 8-9 goals in each of the last 2 seasons at championship level, we are truly, truly, knackered. He'll get absolutely turned inside out at this level, he's over 30 and never played at this level for a reason. Not even going to get into the fact he's also a liability as he ALWAYS goes for the man instead of the ball, VAR will have his life.

If we don't get a quality CB and ST in I am officially writing off our chances of survival, and resuming my criticism of the leadership for failing to adequately strengthen the 2 most important positions to survival. I WILL be relentless.
you never know with O"nien this manager and previous managers trust him, on your point about CB and striker we have been chasing a CB got 1 in and looking at another and what level ST do you think we should be after , any names ,because that position is the biggest gamble of them all, the club have massively gambled with our recruitment and I don't think anyone can say they haven't given it a good go

I’m here done word “spinge”, meaning to push for an exit. As in “I assume Isak is still spinging to get away from the Mags”.
Beautiful isn't it  you see "spingere" and "tirare" on doors but I wouldn't have expected to see spinge in that context. It sounds like something you'd hear in a radio 4 comedy from the 70s

That's because every time we conceded a goal with him on the pitch you would come up with some incredible mental acrobatics to try and blame him.
Genuinely weird fan behaviour, can you just not admit you were wrong to write him off in League one FFS?
People like him are either mags or old as fuck with erectile dysfunction and dislike his youthful exuberance.

Thankfully the club are now run by people who laugh at those with that mindset as opposed to listening like previous owners.

Again, just general overarching attacks, instead of countering specific points of mine. I can defend just about anything I have said on this forum, my opinions are well-considered and thought out. I am sometimes wrong, like everyone, of course.

The problem most people have with me is that I am not a happy clapper and I think outside of the box, which often leads to cynicism and contrarianism. Most of my arguments are ones most people wouldn't think of, I come at things from a unique side, and that can make linear-thinkers uncomfortable, when their worldview is challenged.

I think people like me are essential in society. I question and challenge everything, using logic and critical thinking.

But this is getting off topic, because yet again people resort to personal attacks instead of either addressing my argument or just ignoring me outright. I will not reply again unless it is to defend my football and SAFC opinions.
You cannot defend saying 09 has been responsible for 8 or 9 goals for the opposition in each of the last 2 seasons.

Mainly because you just made it up.

He’s performed better than Ballard last two seasons and was better - low bar, admittedly - when we’ve played the Mags.

Do people on here really think defending is just athleticism? Is it because Dan is big and Luke a bit smaller? Don’t get it.

He’s been a top Championship centre back for three seasons and gets written off as if he’s still the League One midfielder we signed. He may not make it, but the airy dismissal is completely unwarranted.
Look mate - it’s bloody obvious he can’t make the step up for a number of reasons

But anyway, you disagree fair enough

And modest too...

I hate to break it to you mate, but the opinions of randoms on the Internet on football message boards about players won't have any effect in the thinking of the club at all.

He’s not massive but I don’t think he’s 5’9.
A few online sources have him that height but others have him 5’10 and a half and some T just over 6ft. I’m just over 5”10 and I reckon he’s a smidge taller than me.
He’s smaller than me and I’m just over 6 foot.

Tbf id think most defenders that had played every game you could find a few times where it was arguable it was their fault a goal happened.

We are considering blocking Seelt's move now....interesting. Struggling to get a cb over the line?
