Jhon Lucumi - Transfer Rumour

Another day another meeting about Lucum’s future…..

Bologna Summit for the Future of Jhon LucumíThe Italian club's board will meet with the Colombian's agent to convince him to stay. Sunderland is watching from a distance

This has dragged on so much with seemingly very little progress being made. I can see the club moving on if we haven’t already with the Disasi links.

I think they'll pull out an extra million or two - bacause the selling club is holding the cards here. They're unlikely to get this kind of money for him again though, so it's a case of holding out until the end of the week on this one I reckon.
Til the End, so to speak.

Reminds me of when we turned down, allegedly, £23m for Kone and then never got anywhere near that when we did sell him. In hindsight we should have snapped their hands off.

Having to play Seelt in what will be one of our most winnable home games of the entire season won't be fine.
In an ideal world, we’d have our first choice centre backs, but it isn’t the disaster you’ve made it out to be in those post.

You could have posted the same against West Ham & it would have been fine. Albeit, he got injured himself, we win comfortably

Too late now anyway. Even if it's sorted today and he signs tomorrow night, he won't get thrown in.

Plenty fans on here were okay with losing to Burnley and told me Brentford wasn't huge as 'it's early days'.

They dont call him Axel Disaster for nothing. Been pretty Woeful in a lot of games for Chelsea and not much better at Villa, We must be a fair way down the target list now if he's an option

Reinildo and Mukiele can play CB no problem. We aren't the only side without all the pieces yet and to be fair there's a few teams who already look a lot worse than we did in our opening 2 games.

Why are you panicking?! 😂
Where am I panicking?

Just saying we don't need to rush into one now rather than deadline day now. But Saturday is a big game since what happened at Burnley. 3 points from the first 3 games that are all winnable would be a poor start. Beat Brentford and its a good start.

3 of our next 4 are away after Saturday. We could really do with a result.
