Boro thread


Strange first week. Beat Swansea relatively comfortable, get embarrassed by Doncaster and turn Millwall over with a perfect away performance.

Two clean sheets in the league is the biggest plus. A couple of new additions looked the part and the squad now looks fuller. Hopeful for maybe two additions this week. The young Norwegian lad on loan from Man City and this American LWB.

Really hopeful we can keep Hackney, he was class second half on Saturday and just makes us a better team.

Certainly not getting carried away, but this is the first time we have won our first two games in 31 years. Championship looks really competitive top to bottom this season already.

Great start for you lot on Saturday.

Absolutely - It certainly wasn't expected and slowly but surely our Transfer dealings are picking up. We are holding an open training session today and Nypan (the youngster from city) is there, so that loan deal will be announced today at some point.

Key take aways from the first two league games (im totally forgetting Doncaster even happened)
1. We look defensively sound, by that i mean safe, not taking risks and good balance.
2. With wing backs we have width and pace on both sides allowing us to stretch the game
3. The players seem very together and are showing passion - Not saying they where not together under Carrick but we became a soft/too nice team for a lot of fans liking.

We can quote this post when we lose the next 3 and we want Edwards out.
 
Gonna drop some huge money on a centre forward in the coming days, gonna be expensive mind. He will make Kevin Phillips look like Michael Ricketts 👍👍👍👍 IDST

I’m not a fan of Boro lads in general .

Some posters last year who got on here didn’t help.
