I really hope the club stand true to their words earlier on that they will extend if there's is evidence of long term demand being there for the extra seats. That's not currently the case. And hope they dont feel pressured into expanding now because of what is happening with sheepfolds.

Thanks - it did occur to me, and it’s handy, but I don’t quite trust AI to pick up the nuances that we obsessives would want to, well, obsess about.

For instance: as early as p4, section 5, it sounds like they’re already twitchy about having housing near the stadium due to overnight work/deliveries for events.

And in the same section : “Given the Club’s recent promotion, and the demand for matchday tickets expansion of the Stadium to allow for increased capacity is proposed”. They’ll have to talk up the possibility for their objection, but they really aren’t making it sound like a hypothetical situation.

be directly overlooked from above by the users of the proposed function suite and because of the proximity of the extended South Stand, and its height and bulk, overshadowing and loss of sunlight will be major issues.

I kinda agree with that would be a waste on prime land near the city centre.

If the club were serious about this I'm sure land will exist somewhere else in Sunderland
