Big telly in Keel Square getting taken away in September, absolutely nuts.

There's a big tele on the front of culture house

Was there to market the regeneration and all other stuff.....culture house will take thst over now I expect

Can easily put a portable one up for special events etc. It's only really needed for the warmer weather and it'll block the view of the new Culture House.


There was 5k at the last one, and they're aiming for 6k in 2026.

A portable would be a bit small mind, needs to be at least a 50” screen.

The bridge can take 3000 people at once, not strength just space. I had a construction visit and was told this before anyone says “how dee ya kna”.

There were 358 finishers at the Sunderland City 5k in 2022.
It's not a big race.

I have noticed there is cabling hanging out the wall where the screen would go and the brickwork is all set back as if some big screen would be going there but must just be for a sign or summet

It looks shit, the bit underneath apparently broke straight away, and it cost over a million quid. An absolute waste of money
