One bad result

after 2 games, won one lost one.
Same as Manchester City.

There's a significant portion of so called fans on here who will struggle to gather double digits on an IQ test sadly.
So relying on reasoned opinion is pissing in the wind.

They all looked like they worked as hard today as they did last week to me.

I watched probably 75% of their games last season (😖) and they were rock solid.
It was clear to me that they'd go up with Leeds with their defense record.
People can't accept that they might still be great defenders having stepped up.
We'll have to see I s'pose 🤷‍♂️

Some will be along soon to argue it was a masterplan to get Burnley over cocky for the rest of the season.

I thought we were better than that performance like. I just don't get how we lose that from half time position
 
We should have really taken a lead in the first half, but players are still getting used to playing with each and will only get better

The Ballard injury changed things, further into the season we should have proper cover to replace him but today we’ve had to play a 5/6th choice player who has barely played for us, it’s made the defence shaky. They score and are masters of the dark arts but I saw very little Burnley could have broken us down if we were a little better at the back

Yeah I agree with this that’s why 3 points for a win is great.

People get pissed off with losses etc.

But two draws would have been more than acceptable in this league.
 
To be fair, it isn’t just one result. Last weeks was only one result.

This is the performance we put in throughout pre season and if we’re honest, a lot of the back and of last season.
 
Ballard going off injured made us weaker, Seelt did ok but not a starter for us. 1st half we were fine, probably should of been ahead but also lucky we weren't behind. 2nd half was like watching us the last 5 games of the championship season - very poor, passing side to side and not much going forward. I would start Le Fee in the middle next game possibily drop Sadiki, Guiu for Mayenda too. Maybe try swapping Adingra and Talbi around on the wings. Mayenda has pace but he misses too many easy chances and in the premier league you have to be clinical or you get punished. For me he is more an impact Sub at the moment.

Drop Sadiki on the right and play LeFee in the middle.

Ganna get a bit crowded with him a GX in the middle, not to mention, a bit lopsided man. 🤷‍♂️

Exactly. Some people need to learn to take defeats on the chin and enjoy the wins. There will be ups, downs, days like last week and days like this week. I’ll probably deliberately try to avoid reading too much on here this weekend because the pants pissers will be well out in force.

They broke defensive records last season and it was absolutely bizarre.
My prediction this season is that Burnley won't drop back down.

We were winning the league last week, now back to being shit.

Never any middle ground on here, we’re going to lose games, yes it’s frustrating losing to Burnley but Haway man
