One bad result

We're not going to win every game we play ffs.
Every away game in the Premier League is tough.
Our home form will be crucial, people need to take a reality check

Burnley 2024/2025 ref WIKI:
Unbeaten at home.
30 clean sheets.
Didn't concede more than 1 goal.

They are tough to beat.
Whether that will continue in the PL remains to be seen 🤷‍♂️
But they continue to be unbeaten at home 🤷‍♂️
Burnley drive me nuts but there it is 🤷‍♂️
🤷‍♂️

Of course it won't continue. We've just given them the easiest 3 points they'll get all season.

Standards need to rise massively if people are expecting us to reach 40 points because that result is dreadful.

Exactly this. Football, particularly for a side like ourselves, is a game of fine margins. Against West Ham, we took our chances. Today we didn’t. Getting carried away by either result is just daft. Some will go our way and others won’t. Today didn’t.
I think Burnley is a very difficult place to go to, there defensive record last year was the best in Europe if I recall correctly, breaking records all over the place. We struggled today after we went behind, and lacked creativity. It wasnt pathetic. Theres work to be done.
In fairness they lost their keeper, captain and a good chunk of their defence since then

It’s the result .. not the players directly. My worry from the beginning of the season was creativity. Last season we saw Mayenda and Wilson miss easy chances. You can’t do that in this league..
worst part was it’s Burnley. Hopefully they’ll sign a couple more

It was always going to be tough very tough.

17th would be both a brilliant and above expectation achievement.

Anyone who refuses to accept that not living in reality imo

Having seen what happened to the promoted teams last 2 seasons.

What happened last season is completely irrelevant to this tbh. We’ve also missed 2 penalties and sitter from anout 3 yards to ruin that stat.
