It was a bad result, but it was that second half slow pace no tempo or quality up top that was a disappointment. Burnley are a difficult side to beat, but when we are the team pushing on against sides like these we have to have a plan B as we just kept doing the same thing over and over and very slow and ponderously.

If we’d lost like that to a Liverpool / Man City / Arsenal etc it wouldn’t be like this.

Burnley will no doubt go down this season so every reason to worry after that.

Game 2 of a total rebuild of the club from top to bottom. The next 3 seasons will see us steadily grow into a decent top league side. Will have days like this and then it's time to get behind them. Regardless of the outcome of this season of which I feel we will be fine you can see what they are hoping to achieve. When Sheff utds 2nd went in at Wembley nobody could have dreamt we would be progressing like we are. Time patience and a little fortune is all it takes
