Came out half asleep and 1-0 down after 90 seconds and not once did I ever think we’d get back into it. Slow, ponderous, laborious shite for the entire 45 against a glorified Championship outfit. It was f***ing pathetic.

They’re horrendous to play against as they just sit so deep, but let’s not get ahead of ourselves. It’s going to be a grind this season.

If I was an opposition manager, I would be saying to my team, just sit back defend well and counter, not enough of their team are working hard off the ball and they cannot attack unless on a counter.

That was very poor like. I thought we might struggle when up against a team that was happy to sit in when necessary and so it has been.

The missed chances cost us massively. We played right into their hands and they did what they’ve always done.

We go one up and they have to come-out a lot earlier than they did, we pick them off imo.
