***Burnley FC v Sunderland AFC Premier League Kick Off 3pm Match Thread***

Burnley have no ambition at all. It has to open up second half. We look better than them but havnt created much. Wide men need to step up Getting lots of space and seeing the ball but not doing much with it. Suspect our plan has to not over commit first half because we havnt taken many risks at all

Weird first half that.

Started extremely well and looked really dangerous and then it all just petered out into nothingness after their disallowed goal.

We need to be more aggressive in our decision making and get on the front foot.
Hoping this is exactly what we do in 2nd half and think we will.. le bris always tweeks things in 2nd half when he gets an idea of how they may play.

We are a bit lucky to be level
We have had huge areas to run into and play but have created nowt.It was shameful theatrical fall by Mayenda when he could have got round the lad and get the ball but chose to fall over

we need more in the final 3rd should be 1-0 up absolutely sitter from mayenda can’t afford to miss chances like that adingra is frustrating to watch fuckingaboht wkth the ball and poor final ball in the box , lee fee on for him and give it 10 mins and get another striker on

Dunno why people are down on that performance - pretty much on top overall there, away from home. That's good.
2 good chances to their 1.
This. They’re at home so it’s on them to push it and they haven’t had a shot on goal (other than the disallowed one).
We should have been 2 up in the first 15 minutes and that would have been game over.

It seems like he wasn't ready to make an explosive movement like that jump and it was very early in the game. Suggest he hasn't got himself warmed up properly which is disappointing. I could be wrong I'm not a physio.
Entirely possible, wild speculation.

Could easily have put our chances away as well
