***Burnley FC v Sunderland AFC Premier League Kick Off 3pm Match Thread***

Our wingers… discuss?

Poor today but that is going to be the nature of them, great one minute poor the next and vice versa. Talbi looks more consistent and less wasteful but maybe not as unpredictable in a good way as adingra. No idea if I have got their names right.

Mayenda had to score that chance, fluffed it. Ballard, well. Expected to get an injury but as soon as that? We overtraining the big lads or something? Hope it's not another long one for him.

15 minutes of huff and puff from them, we got back into it. Still happy being the big boys league haha

We'll win this if we don't have some awful individual error at the back.

If you look at last season Regis struggled to break teams down. A lot of our goals came late in games when the other team either tired or started taking chances. I'm confident we'll beat these later in the second half, they might even come out and attack us early, we were most vulnerable last season right after the restart and Burnley will know this.

He went up to win a header, sent it on to mayenda who maybe should have scored. He did what looked like a hammy or groin doing that, came back on but immediately went down again.
I would say groin strain looking at what the physio was doing to him.

Mayenda should have at least hit the ball with some conviction. Chance wasted.

Happy for our cerebral manager to concoct a plan having assessed the first half😉
