***Burnley FC v Sunderland AFC Premier League Kick Off 3pm Match Thread***

He went down and got a fair amount of treatment then went to come back on and immediately sat down as he ran on. Didn't look good tbh.
It’s a worry as I’m betting it’s the same recurring injury. Once a muscle injury starts to repeatedly give way it’s not something that ever get fixed. It’s why I’m worried about mundle and his hamstring.

That was......okay.

You can see the patterns and movement are levels above last season even already.

Mayenda should have buried that chance. We might only get one of those a game at this level so need to be clinical.

Seelt looks our weakest link by a mile. That's not necessarily a criticism of him, I like him, and you'd expect what should be your 4th choice CB come the end of the window to be a big drop off.

My big concern is that, regardless of what happens today, Burnley will be finishing rock bottom so failure to win would be disappointing but defeat extremely concerning for the long-term.

Get out of here without defeat and get Lucumi in ASAP and I'd take it.

Done alright. Xhaka’s been sloppy mind, given the ball away too easy a couple of times and lost his man there. Thought he was initially last week before he stepped up second half.

Game’s there to be won second half.

Weird first half that.

Started extremely well and looked really dangerous and then it all just petered out into nothingness after their disallowed goal.

We need to be more aggressive in our decision making and get on the front foot.
