I see why that might be appealing ...but whilst doing so you're making it about them.... when really it should be about us our history and what we are about as a club.

Our mutual distain is well known....why waste money on it on some petty point scoring... leave that to them, they're the ones where we live rent free in their heads

Given how big socials are nowadays, someone should organise a mass choir of Mackems in stripes singing that song. (Not me- I'm an exile!)
Now that The Blaydon Races has been totally appropriated by the Mags, despite it being sung at Roker and Wembley by us, The Lambton Worm should be our club anthem alongside 'Wise Men'.
A decent video of a mass choir, the TIFO, Penshaw monument, the Wear etc. might just go viral!
This club is more than just what happens on the pitch.

London branch functions often have a singalong to the worm and have done for decades
 
Then bloodied black and white feathers rain down after the shooting stops.

Its a nice idea but i prefer us to really push the illegal saudi ownership angle. It shouldnt have a blind eye turned against it
