We are now in territory of buiding a great squad not just first 11. Mix of experience and youth who are hungry and see us as a good step too going to a top 4 premier league team in the future for mega money. What ever this ambitious project is they are telling all these players we are in for one hell of a ride. Quinn’s magic carpet must have been found in an old dusty cupboard during the refurb!

But if he played on Saturday and no deal is agreed is this not tapping up? Surely there’s no green light for him to pop over and have a look around

I thought when we signed Alderete, that he would be the LCB. With Reinildo offering cover there if needed. With Masuaku or Cirkin coming in to cover LB. We have good options at RCB/RB with the lad from PSG coming in. We are well covered across the back 4 as we are. At the end of last season one area I wanted the club to sort was the Cirkin/Huggins/Alese thing. I ll throw Hjelde into the mix aswell. Wasn’t expecting to be in a position where all 4 may now be surplus to requirements. 09 will be lucky to get on the bench at this rate.
