Not sure it is a low ball offer, £110m would be a league record fee for a player who is 26 in a month's time.

Can't see anyone offering more than that, apart from a Saudi club which may be his only option come August 31st (or a sickening back down and grovelling apology from him to the club, fans and teammates - even then his value would plummet compared to the Liverpool offer).
 

If we were going to stump up the cash, surely it would have been weeks ago to get him in to start the season. As everyone knows, the first three games are game changers for us.

This lad appears to be a little above where we're targeting this season unfortunately. Hopefully not having a more experienced top flight striker doesn't come to bite us!

I reckon a striker will be a deadline day signing with a load of pieces to fall into place across teams in Europe in the next two weeks.
Dont think it'll be Openda.
