Wearmouth due to have £15m of works in the next 2 years so possibility they might be sorted.

They've got another week to race through the final bits that make it possible to use it? Still work to do to connect it up isn't there.

Would be good to have a proper opening date as I'm wanting to book to come home and walk across it with the family. It's a unique piece of our history.

Was a canny few workers on it at around 2:15 Saturday.
