Look mate, I know you're excited to be going fishing with us here.
But if you really want to try to wind us up?

You're better off learning stuff like spelling and sentence construction.

Your wind ups will make far more sense and get far more responses if you check them before posting, otherwise it looks like you don't really have a basic understanding of the English language.

Sometimes we all find ourselves adrift in the great, grey ocean that is the internet. Yet I have never found myself signing up to a rival club's messageboard and posting, strange behaviour.

If my posting is winding anyone up that's on them I'm afraid.

This is the 3rd Dominic Calvert-Lewin thread on here in the past 2 days. I think it's fair to suggest there are plenty already 'wound' up' on here without me passing comment on Leeds making a decent signing.

He turned us down, it happens in football. We move on.
 
I’ve noticed it’s the same wallop that reported ramsdale toooorn wa dooon as well. Talkshite just parrot him and from one reporter the turning us down becomes gospel. Even though journalists with better links to the club have reported we were interested but never got as far as offering any contract for him to turn down.

I'm pretty good at English I like to think, did reasonably well in my O levels and all that, got an A level at night school much later on just because I wanted to, and even married a writer.

Even so, the sentence above is more full gobbledygook than a Boris Johnson ad hoc press conference.

I didn't say you were winding anyone up, far from it.

And I have no idea why you would say he turned us down when we didn't offer him a contract - that's in the public domain.
If we had been turned down by him I wouldn't have a problem with that - but according to reporters he didn't.

We’re signing major players from PSG and Leverkusen but the likes of Calvin-Lewin are turning us down according to *checks notes* talk sport.

Even the mag arse licker Keith Downie said we didn’t offer him a contract and got the lad from Chelsea instead.
