Lyndon Gooch

I personally hope that he returns to the stadium of light at some time in the future, with a newly promoted team. It's probably not likely top happen at Huddersfield but more surprising thing shave happened.
Not sure if I've misunderstood your post or you've missed the league cup draw, but we've got Huddersfield at home in two weeks time

Random one but that chip he scored away to Sheffield utd when Dan Neil got sent off was absolutely beautiful
Lovely goal that.

He got the send off he deserved really. Club made a bit of a deal of it and he got a nice welcome when he came back. Love the lad.

That being said I wouldn't be against the entire stadium/a stand being named after him.

I liked Gooch he gave his all and worked his socks off but he played for us in our worst time as a club in my lifetime. Bang average footballer. A round of applause is more than enough

He cared when very others did in the two relegation seasons. He scored the winning goal in our first game in L1 AND the winning goal in the first wembley appearance we won in decades. A goal that kickstarted 3 wembley wins in a row.

Whilst almost everyone else tried to force their way out of the club. Players like honeyman who tried to engineer an exit, mcnair etc who couldn't wait to get away. Gooch was the least of our problems

Not enough imo.

Need to rename the club and/or the city to Lyndeland.
