I think it was purely as a guest of a former club.

Sure he would have took in the game and scouted players also, but I don’t think he would have made himself that visible if it was for Openda deal.

I don’t get this John le Carre stuff over Ghisolfi visiting a former club where as it happens a pre season friendly is happening. Can’t he mix business with pleasure. I would suggest his achievements in the short time he has been here warrant he be given carte Blanche in terms of where he goes and what he does as opposed to the overthinking and unwarranted suspicion being thrown around by some.

Aye if anyone at this club this summer has earned the right to go anywhere he wants to watch a game it’s him, compare this to any other transfer window and how long it has took us to do business, can be as simple as keeping in good graces with old club.
