Jack Clarke

In all seriousness though a penny for the thoughts of Clarke and Stewart. Hindsight is a wonderful thing but although happy for their mates and the club yesterday a bet they're f***ing gutted.

Would be a great buy brining him back.
He went to the premier league after we thought we had an adequate replacement in mundle (which turned out to be accurate).
He stayed the year before when Burnley offered the same money and never complained.

The jack clark story should now be closed.
Fair play to him for attending yesterday to support his mates but he will have earned alot of money in the period. It may not of worked out how he would have liked but we have moved forwards now and he is history.
Clark is a top end championship player.
The prem is different and he is rather one dimensional. He will have a great season next year, if the manager can get them playing right they will be sone force.
Let's move forwards and enjoy his memories.

Sometimes a club just suits a player in the way he plays.

Certainly under Mowbray everything flowed through Jack and he was the main man. Not so much now.

All in all a pretty bad move for him - not that Ian Harte will care.

Really intersting seeing that, from a distance, he maybe isn't the player we thought he was when he was winning games for us.

He's got a simple formula that really worked brilliantly, but once he's sussed he hasn't got the tools to change it up. His lack of speed is a killer in the Prem.

Ah well. Least he got a boost in wages. Was good for us and we were good for him. We have moved on now he has had a couple of bites at premier league now

The move to Ipswich never made any sense for him or Ipswich, they don't play him to his strengths where he can hug the touchline and go either way.

His level has plummeted since he was here

He moved away , instantly became an ex player.

Our fans need to move on and stop looking back.
Football is more than the Ground Zero of today. We all have our favourites and it's completely normal to want to see how a once important player for us gets on and to speculate about whatmight have been.

I support Sunderland now and since childhood and everything and everyone in our history, good bad or indifferent is of interest to me, to different degrees. Stewart and Clarke much more so than Rodwell and MacFadzean.
