Is Trai Hume good enough for the Prem?

Talk we needed a rb already as Huggins looks like he needs a loan to championship. Would need 2 now. Maybe where the Lloyd Kelly stuff has come from.

Crosses the ball well

Gives away too many free kicks (amount of people he pulls down).

Not sure 10 mill is enough to make me not want to keep him even as a squad player.

It's also the thought of Huggins being injured 25 mins in against West Ham and looking at Pembele or Seelt until O'nien is fit. I'd rather see Hume allowed to develop (or not) than 10m and any of that.

I suspect he will be subjected to a few shockers this season. Bit rash and doesnt really have the pace to redeem himself. Saying that I do like him but he is potentially a weak spot in our side that could be exploited. Not a chance I would accept 10 mill for him at this point though

His lack of pace would the one thing which may expose him in the Premier League. I can see the opposition targeting him as an area to exploit. Time will tell.

Also our most dangerous outlet back end of last season.

I like him a lot. He gives a shit. Plays with his heart on his sleeve and isn’t afraid of anything.

He's quite often the target in a lot of rehearsed set plays with his ball striking / volleying technique trusted by the management. I don't think they'd let him go unless the price was crazy.

Hume has said the right things, he loves the club and has improved massively with plenty of scope for improvement aswell,
Will only go if club want it or accept it.

Worth more than that for sure. Can only think we’d consider selling if we had a replacement already lined up as well.

Leaving aside how good he is (or isn't). It's likely to be pretty much down to Hume, Ballard, O9 (in the background) and probably Roberts to maintain the spirit of last year and to bridge the gap to the new era.
