I’m 100% on his side like, don’t need him to say anything the actions so far with signing made says it all for me

Same, happy to assume a player sent away isn't right for the club... If it's injury, demands, attitude or even if his voicemail is Whazzzzaaaaaaa!!! Doesn't matter, move on.

Hadawayandshite man. He will be frantically busy, as will Speakman.

Yeah, it was very unusual that this went tits up at the last minute, but his judgement is top drawer.

We can only presume that either he was trying to hide an injury, or he has a team of wrong 'uns around him who tried to skim a little extra after agreement had been made.

Either way, I'm going with, "we've dodged a bullet here" and its refreshing.

He’ll be in the busier part of his SAFC career right now. I’d rather him be concentrating on the transfer window than arranging meetings with fans.

This window, potentially, has the chance to change the short/medium term for SAFC. It’s a big task, but it would be great if we could start next season in the Premier League & not one of the favourites to be relegated. The only real chance to achieve that is to put together a good enough squad this transfer window.

I’m all for transparency on big club matters but because a deal didn’t get over the line? He’d likely having to be releasing statements and speaking on a daily basis during the transfer window.

Another little observation on this from your resident interpreter: go back and watch the behind-the-scenes video of Reinildo’s signing, after his medical. It’s Ghisolfi who greets him and chats with him (in French) as if he knows him already. After the scarfing, Reinildo says bye to everyone in English - then a little extra bit in French, probably toward Ghisolfi, effectively saying ‘Thanks, bro - we’ll see each other soon’. Nice little moment.

Yeah know what you mean and I didnt just mean about this signing i just meant in general, would be nice to hear from the fella
 
His whole appointment was shrouded in secrecy other than the announcement of it. We know very little about what his role is. How he impacts on the chasing and the signing of players.

But I do think any signing after his appointment has to have been signed by him. Like Laurent.
