Robin Roefs 🇳🇱 compendium


I have a tremendoulsy good feeling about this lad. Hope we get to keep him for a whole season. Not forgetting Patto of course, who also deserves a massive amount of respect.
 
Reflexes are brilliant, can distribute with both feet and commands his box. He's 22 and I'm not sure what his weakness is, could have unearthed a gem here
 
We could be on to a winner here. Of course it's very early days but he looks like a very well rounded player. Reads crosses very well, athletic and seems to be a good shot stopper, very comfortable with the ball at his feet but not ponderous and is happy enough to send it long when needed.
 
Will have to see what he's like when he's properly tested but looks a cracking keeper at the moment and very self assured too.
 
Couldn’t have looked better today. Distribution top class, calm with the ball at his feet, collected crosses, saved a pen, made a cracking save to his right. Also looks to have a bit of that Pickford confidence about him asking for the ball and telling people where to go. Very, very impressed.

Didn’t notice him throwing it, but that’s another positive. I used to love it when Tommy Sorensen did that throw down the left wing with spin on it and it would skim into Mickey Gray’s path.

As I said the other day, I can see Roefs getting assists.

Looks quality, was surprised how confident he seems for someone with relatively little experience. Very impressive
 
Looks very, very impressive. Like others have said it's a Sorensen esque signing. If he gets to that level, he'll either stay here forever and ever and become the new Jimmy Monty club ambassador or he'll leave for Real Madrid for about £400 million.

I'm kidding, partly. He's looked really good. Only really had one moment today when GX played a quick ball back to him from just outside the area and I think he flunked it but being reasonable, GX could have taken an extra second and played a better/different ball. Commands his area really well too. This could be a steal.

He bowled one out to Hume second half, decent pace and accurate. Can be a real asset for keepers.
