Been told he is behind Abdullahi and Rusyn in the pecking order and now refusing to play.
Rusyn has a clause in his contract that he has to start every game in the PL and the club didn't spot it. They're now panicking they'll lose Mayenda, hence the new contract. RLB is said to be raging about it and has apparently spoken to L'Orient about a return. If he does, Xhaka will go on strike unless he get's the manager's job and KLD is trying to find a buyer before the news comes out about his family's financial crisis.

There was a rumour that ELF is unhappy that he's not going to be in the first XI v West Ham. People claiming he refused to travel to Germany and apparently his agent has confirmed this on a DM to someone on twitter. Loads claiming to have seen the message, but no-one has shared a picture of it.

Even if it IS true (which I don't think it is) all this talk of him wanting to leave is over the top. I wouldn't want a player to be happy sitting on the bench, and it's a long old season. He is RLB's man and will 100% play a part this season.
Maybe the agent is being a knob, or maybe the online lot are just whipping themselves up into the usual uninformed negative frenzy. Either way I'm not overly worried

Rumour was spread on Thursday that he's not going to be in our first choice starting XI this season and he's unhappy about it. This was quickly rubbished as people said "of course he's going to be first choice, he's class." Then as it became clear he'd not travelled to Germany with the rest of our first team, this has changed to "Aye well he'll still come off the bench though so he couldn't possibly be unhappy."
