You do realise that Triantis only played at centre half once last season?

That one appearance as a defender was when we lost 2 0 in the cup to Preston.

Playing well as a defensive midfielder in the SPL doesn’t mean he’s going to all of a sudden become a premier league defender.

You do also realise that Mayenda went there and played half a game or so . My main point was that he's played there and is one of a couple who are fit at the moment who could step in but seems to be getting forgotten , at least by some . We'll see anyway it's all opinions at the moment. A season can bring players of their age along massively as we've seen.

Possibly Mayenda for Talbi.

Even if from the bench it shows with have a bit of talent through the squad with good players competing to make the starting lineup.

I would play Le Fee as one of front three, especially against stronger teams. Then any two of Guiu/Mayenda/Adigra/Talbi/Mundle, at least until we get used to the pace and intensity of the league.

Xhaka isn’t a 6.

He played very well there for us. Hes more than comfortable there. That’ll be why.

He didn’t really. He had some good flashes and was brilliant against Boro, but he was pretty average out wide. He was far far better playing deeper as an 8.

Le Fee was pretty ineffective on the wing in the Championship (unless he was up against Ayling) and poor defensively, he's not going to be any better in the Premier League there.

He looks like one of the better signings to me. In the oppositions face, ratting away but with a bit of actual quality on the ball.
