Omar Alderete 🇵🇾 Signed!

Data lads, let’s have a comparison with Lucemi.

To my quick dive, he seems a bit more of a traditional defender, less pace, but more of a body on the line warrior.
Him and Lucemi couldn't be more different.

This lad wins loads in the air (88.5%), Lucemi wins very very little little
Lucemi makes considerably more passes per game and plays far more forward balls. However, this lad makes more progressive passes.

Dare I say it, they complement each other very well although both are left footed.

I like them both together tbf baring the two left footers
He’s very much a Ballard upgrade but left footed

And lucumi is a O9 upgrade. That could be a great partnership

Both an upgrade on the Ballard / O'Nien dynamic, then?

I think Lucemi’s, while clearly a very elegant player, is a bit worrying on the aerial duel stats. Especially at £25m for a 27 year old. Maybe we will sign a more progressive RCB?
