Wolves, Brentford and Burnley

Moyes had them clicking last year towards the end and are starting to progress with signings.

Bog standard mid table for Everton I reckon.
Sure I read some stat that his form in the games he managed after taking over last season was actually pushing European places type form if modelled over the whole season.

How come when people are mentioning teams in the relegation battle no one is mentioning Everton I really fancy them to finally drop this year
For me the team most forget to mention are Fulham.

Also iirc wolves won 6 on the bounce feb/march. Once in a lifetime run that. If the struggling they wont repeat that.

There are loads of teams that could get dragged in. It’s only really Arsenal, Man City, Chelsea, Liverpool, Man Utd and I’d argue Spurs, Mags and Villa that are completely safe.

Anyone like Brentford, Bournemouth and even potentially clubs that have done well in previous seasons like Brighton, Fulham and potentially even Forest that could drop like a stone.

Looking at the teams it’s crazy, during the Roy Keane days we could be ambitious and have a great chance of staying up. We could potentially spend 160 million and still not have much of a chance.

thought the like of Wolves might be down the bottom but even Wolves are making some great buys. Burnley, Brentford, Leeds, West Ham and us in a dog fight?

just about that first season of staying up
Is huge. Hopefully we can do it.
Samaritans is a free call you know

It will be especially tough if we are going to make some of our most winnable fixtures for the entire season even more difficult by not having 2 x CB's in and ready to go for game one.

We've got more than enough quality and depth to hurt teams, cautious however that we haven't improved defensively, but we were always gritty in the championship and i think that'll continue this year too.

Hopefully the players are made of sterner stuff....
