Unless Sunderland are making a run of it or a Northeast non league side gets to the first round proper (or beyond), im not that interested in it either.

I remember when most people watched the semi finals, regardless who was still in (and they were played at neutral league grounds) and they final was a full day of entertainment

I remember when they used to televise the odd England Schoolboys match. I remember watching it, as a kid, and England beat Scotland with the standout performer being Paul Rideout.

From early 80s watching the build up on Grandstand from 10am. Used to love that...'dial a cup final', ' it's a knock out ', 'question of sport', 'Meet the Teams' etc...
