No, I just think Cresswell is a very safe option.

Also an interesting indicator is I've heard several Leeds pundits say how gutted they'll be if he goes to Sunderland.

A full season in the championship and a full season in France is pretty decent experience.

Although nationalities in the squad isn't very important, maintaining a balance of home/overseas players would be good.

I'd also be looking at Harwood Bellis although I suspect he is unavailable.

Was reported that the club have no intention of going for Cresswell as regarded as too slow.

Didn't realise he is Richard's son.
 
Whether it’s Lucumi, Diakite or whoever the club need to make a breakthrough in negotiations with at least one decent centre back in the next week to have him signed and ready to play in the final preseason game ideally.

Despite the fantastic work done this window, going into the first game with a centre back pairing of Ballard and Seelt is worrying, particularly if Ballard were to pick up a knock early in the game. We’d be looking to the bench and seeing Anderson or Zack Johnson as our centre half options.

I looked at their team the other day and thought most of their players get in our team. Shows the size of the task if we're half expecting the hammers to be one of the teams that might struggle a touch this year

No-one will be more aware of this than the club, you can guarantee they will be doing everything possible to get these deals done
