Special none SAFC fa cup memory from your childhood?

Spurs
4th round
Wrexham
Sutton United beating Coventry and watching the highlights on MOTD

When i 1st went to Wembley in 1985 the only goal that came to mind was Trevor Brooking scoring for West Ham there, no idea why

Man City to win it

5th round exit for us

Birmingham

Alan Sunderland’s winner for Arsenal against Man United in 1979

Brighton missing a sitter to win it in the final one year.Andy gray headering the ball out of sherwood( Watford keeper) hands in the final one year. That player for man city scoring a hat trick against spurs when they won 4-3 with 10 men. Good game that. Giggs scoring that class goal against arsenal in semi was a gud'n. On a sad note Hillsborough is probably the most memorable ( in a bad way) f.a cup moment ever. Awful times

A day at the Seaside and the Whitley Bay v Heaton Stannington F.A. Cup Match for me tomorrow...... I hear Patto will be taking in the North Shields v Newcastle Blue Star game in the F.A. Cup!!!

As for the winners...one of the top 6 .....Sunderland 3rd Round...Hartlepools Round 2....South Shields Round 1.... I imagine

Le Bris made sure with his team selections that we went out of both cups in the first round last season.

With Division 1 survival priority next season i don't suppose he will be bothered with the cups again.
