Concourse artwork....

Does anyone know the story behind the 'art' on the walls of the stairs leading up to the Premier Concourse? There's a painting of Niall Quinn and then some really weird random images that have no relation to anything like a computer, a girl receiving treatment to her injured ankle and a baby smashing up a double helix. In fact, it's so bizarre, that writing this out now I'm starting to question where it really exists or if I'm just remembering a fever dream...
Do you mean the red carpet area from the main entrance, where the likes of the Wearmouth Colliery flag thing hangs, or the stairs up from those turnstiles between the NWC and old club shop location? I’ve been up and down both many a time and honestly not sure what you mean, unless they’re new ish.

On the topic of stadium renovation What are people's thoughts on repainting the outside of the stadium? Paint the roof metalwork from white to red, and the brickwork to black. Would look striking, also paint the wearmouth bridge back to red too.

Like that but SAFC red.
Black and White, no thanks

Stadium is unique how it is, just needs painting same colour

Looks good. Not sure on the tunnel but something probably needed doing I doubt it’s been altered much at all since the SoL was built

Nah doesn’t look right, look how much it’s costing to blast and repaint it this colour. You’d need to keep on top of red way too much would cost a little fortune.
