Durham vs Surrey - CC Match Thread

Been sitting in the Laura Wright Stand (small blue one next to the Trapdoor) with about 50 Surrey supporters. It's been like a bleedin' episode of Only Fools guv !

Clouding over nicely for Durham's innings.
Noticed the Surrey flags had migrated across. Canny few Surrey fans dotted all over to be fair

First chance I've had to see the score.

Surrey's total has shown that the pitch isn't a problem.

This might be over today.

Raine is carrying the bowling at the moment. I can’t remember Potts being so poor.

The other thing is Surrey batted for 13 more overs but doubled our score.

Aye, we do travel well. I posted this at the time but I always remember Aaron Finch approaching us at Trent Bridge a few years back to ask "f*cking hell lads, dont any of you c*nts f*cking work"

I'll have a few quid on our 'leaders' claiming the continued presence in the t20 blast means the season has been smashing.

Spoke to a couple in the Church Mouse last night.....they love their trip to Durham / area / like the ground etc etc. Are staying for the whole match

Dumb dumb cricket, how many times before Mckinney understands what 4 day cricket is. Just getting towards being back in the game and he does that. This is about fighting to stay in a game, not trying to put balls in the media stand.

Think the club just need to send him down to the 2’s for the rest of the season and let him realise until he bats properly in the CC then he can’t be trusted. I think the England talk at the start of the season has went to his head and he believes he has to play like duckett, Crawley etc.
As I said yesterday it's my opinion that we need to find a place for Borthwick in the red ball game for various reasons. I think dropping McKinney is justified.

The worrying thing for Mckinney was that dismissal was one of a colt cricketer and this is his 3rd season involved with the first team. The amount of times he gets dismissed caught in no man's land is a real concern especially at this stage.
