Sheff Wed - financial issues


They’re absolutely fucked these like. Why would anyone even want to buy them? You’re getting a team with no manager, no saleable assets amongst the playing staff, a stadium which is falling apart and average training facilities.

Why would you not just spend a fraction of that on any other League 1 club?
 
My best mate is from a SW family, he doesnt like football though. His best mate is Calvert-Lewin's father, apparently also a footballer. I think he gave it all up so he could look after his son and give him the dream, if I recall Si saying that.
 
Desperate times for the fans, with little or no light at the end of the tunnel. Having been in the Inter Cities Fairs Cup, Eufa Cup,then the Eufa intertoto cup, having a ground that was regularly used for FA Cup semi finals to the predicament they now find themselves in. I hope things take a turn for the better. Keep the faith.

But I still can't see why someone wanting to buy a football club would want to buy them for the reasons I listed. They're going down this season, and then what gives them any more potential than any other club down there

They still won't even be able to buy anyone next summer either as they'll still be under the embargo

He's in quite a strong position really knowing he's disliked so will milk-it totally. If he could be offered more to complete quickly that will probably be within his planning/stance.

That is the problem Mate he is not disliked by so many.
Still lorded as the bloke who saved the club when infact he was gifted it by the legal outcome. Real sad our fanbase is so split.
Just cannot wait for the day when the Club reunites once more and we will start the slow journey forward.
Taking over 2,000 to Walsall Saturday and that is the Holloway factor.

Sure always a risk with any new owner but more than ready to take yet another spin of the wheel in the hope that we finally land a half decent one after 10 years of falling behind. It will feel like a promotion, an early season lift and bursting inside to get my love back for the club.

Then this is Swindon and only needs another monumental disaster.

Many foreign investors want to buy a big English club with history and a fanbase.

With the investment and good recruitment there is potential. Why did the Americans buy Brum city?

Always hoping a fan or consortium with Sheffield blood can take it up.
On the other hand you always think why now.
Like Sunderland, Wednesday are a big Club and big Clubs never die.
I really hope they pull out of this.
